The company estimates that as many as 5,000 people will experience problems with Medtronic defibrillators in the next 30 months. Medtronic warned doctors to stop using Sprint Fidelis® leads in patients implanted with Medtronic defibrillators. Medtronic also announced that it will recall all Sprint Fidelis® leads not already in use.
